Student Pilot Financing
Financing Programs
HOW TO APPLY: Tampa Bay Aviation currently works with Pilot Finance to assist students with the financial aspect of flight training. Request an application from our office staff or call our offices with any questions. More information can also be found at www.pilotfinance.com.
TRAINING SCHEDULES: The current providers we use have programs designed for flight students on a part-time training schedule, one to five flight lessons per week. Please note that the example below is based off the maximum APR of 18%. If you qualify for a Preferred Interest Rate, your payments may be considerable lower.
HOW MUCH CAN I FINANCE: The maximum amount financed is limited by the applicant’s income, debts, and credit record. The amount financed in these examples is the Total Program Cost less the standard Cash Down Payment of $250.
EXAMPLES: The table below shows an example of possible finance programs. The maximum repayment term (number of payments) is determined by the number of lessons per week in the student’s training schedule.
